Fen­wick has recent­ly launched a new, beau­ti­ful wine room based on the 2^nd floor of Fen­wick Colchester.

Have you ever tak­en the time to just stop and look around to see what is sur­round­ing you; it would prob­a­bly be a sur­prise. Being a Colch­ester res­i­dent I thought I knew every­thing it has to offer; how­ev­er I am start­ing to realise just how much more there is to this his­toric bustling town.

Feel at home with their warm and wel­com­ing décor and light­ing while div­ing into a world of sea­son­al flavours and mouth-water­ing smooth­ies (with an option­al ​“kick” if required)

It’s get­ting close to the big day there­fore shop­ping for those all impor­tant presents is prob­a­bly high up on your to do list. Every­one wants to get the per­fect gift to make their loved ones smile but some­times it’s the lit­tle gifts which have us stumped.

The Vis­it Colch­ester Infor­ma­tion Cen­tre is based in Hol­lytrees Muse­um in Colchester’s Cas­tle Park. It’s the first port of call for many vis­i­tors to the town and is well known for pro­vid­ing use­ful infor­ma­tion to tourists, but did you know we can also pro­vide a valu­able ser­vice to local res­i­dents and peo­ple who have lived in the town for many years?
