We are com­mit­ted to help­ing chil­dren to achieve their poten­tial and ​‘To be the Best You Can Be.’ Every deci­sion that we make in school reflects this aim and our broad and bal­anced cur­ricu­lum is designed to give our chil­dren the oppor­tu­ni­ties that they need to become con­fi­dent, hap­py, respon­si­ble and suc­cess­ful, ready for their next steps in learn­ing and the world.

Our aim is to pro­vide high qual­i­ty learn­ing for your child in a car­ing envi­ron­ment. Chil­dren who enjoy their learn­ing remain curi­ous, focused and aspire to achieve their very best. We devel­op this love of learn­ing through our excit­ing cur­ricu­lum and very good teach­ing from our ded­i­cat­ed staff. We sup­port every child’s social and emo­tion­al devel­op­ment and have high expec­ta­tions of behav­iour and attainment.

As a Church of Eng­land school, we have Chris­t­ian val­ues at the cen­tre of all we do as we teach the chil­dren how to aim high using their skills and tal­ents to achieve what­ev­er they aim for.

Patch is a new veg­e­tar­i­an plant-led café in the heart of Colch­ester, opened in Sep­tem­ber 2022, with an empha­sis where pos­si­ble on local­ly-grown, sea­son­al pro­duce from small inde­pen­dent pro­duc­ers and from our very own patch! Locat­ed in HAT Projects on Trin­i­ty Street, we would like to wel­come you to a friend­ly, laid-back envi­ron­ment where food and ingre­di­ents speak for themselves.
