We are proud of our rep­u­ta­tion as a friend­ly, wel­com­ing school and do our best to be approach­able, open and under­stand­ing. Our school is a thriv­ing com­mu­ni­ty, where staff, par­ents and gov­er­nors work close­ly togeth­er to ensure that the chil­dren in our care receive the best edu­ca­tion and school expe­ri­ence that we can offer. 

We are a Local Author­i­ty main­tained one form entry pri­ma­ry school. Our ​‘num­ber to admit’ in each year group is 30 for each of our sev­en class­es totalling 210 chil­dren. All our admis­sions are man­aged by Essex Coun­ty Coun­cil Plan­ning & Admissions.

Mont­gomery Junior School is a friend­ly, car­ing and wel­com­ing school with a his­to­ry of strong links with the mil­i­tary. Sit­u­at­ed on the gar­ri­son estate, the site has excel­lent facil­i­ties for aca­d­e­m­ic learn­ing, sports and the arts. Our staff work tire­less­ly to ensure the best edu­ca­tion pos­si­ble for each child and the learn­ing expe­ri­ences pro­vid­ed ensure the chil­dren are engaged and stim­u­lat­ed dur­ing their time at school.
