We are a Local Author­i­ty main­tained one form entry pri­ma­ry school. Our ​‘num­ber to admit’ in each year group is 30 for each of our sev­en class­es totalling 210 chil­dren. All our admis­sions are man­aged by Essex Coun­ty Coun­cil Plan­ning & Admissions.

Patch is a new veg­e­tar­i­an plant-led café in the heart of Colch­ester, opened in Sep­tem­ber 2022, with an empha­sis where pos­si­ble on local­ly-grown, sea­son­al pro­duce from small inde­pen­dent pro­duc­ers and from our very own patch! Locat­ed in HAT Projects on Trin­i­ty Street, we would like to wel­come you to a friend­ly, laid-back envi­ron­ment where food and ingre­di­ents speak for themselves.

The Balk­erne water tow­er, known affec­tion­ate­ly as ​‘Jum­bo’, is the best of its type in Eng­land. Jum­bo pro­vid­ed water to Colch­ester for a cen­tu­ry but fell out of use in 1984. 

Cur­zon is known for being a place to explore oth­er worlds and cul­tures or dis­cov­er some­thing new. Besides that, it’s a loca­tion where drinks and con­ver­sa­tion are shared in equal mea­sure and where a vari­ety of peo­ple can have won­der­ful expe­ri­ences at the movies.
