The venue now hosts four styl­ish bars, one of which spe­cialis­es in fresh fruit cock­tails. There is a heat­ed ter­race, over 25 flavours of shisha as well as a Pool & Snook­er Club. Sit­u­at­ed on the main high street of Colch­ester the venue build­ing dates back to 1905 when it was the Grand Palace of Vari­eties some­thing of which is tried to kept alive today with a Grand Vari­ety of dif­fer­ent rooms of enter­tain­ment.
