Join us on Wednesday 12 August from 7 to 8.30pm for an evening of live music beneath Luke Jerram’s breathtaking Museum of the Moon.
Performed by the Abbeygate Concert Band, this concert will feature a selection of moon-inspired music, creating an atmospheric soundtrack beneath the spectacular lunar sculpture. Surrounded by the glow and detail of the Moon, audiences will enjoy an unforgettable blend of music, art and awe in one of Colchester’s most iconic historic settings.
Whether you’re a fan of live music, fascinated by space, or looking for a memorable summer evening out, this one-off event offers an opportunity to experience the Museum of the Moon in a completely different way. With limited seating available, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
The concert will begin at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Arrive a little early to settle in, take in the installation and enjoy a drink from the bar before the performance begins.
Suitable for ages 4+.
