Sessions take place on 29 September, 10–11am and 11:15am–12:15pm.
Designed for children aged 2½ to 5, these relaxed, hands-on sessions invite you to explore the museum together. Join your child as they discover science and the natural world through play, with plenty of opportunities to get involved, create and learn side by side at the Natural History Museum.
In September, we’re celebrating our amazing planet. Travel from lush rainforests to habitats closer to home as little explorers discover who lives there and how we can all help care for our precious Earth. With stories, craft and hands-on exploration, it’s a fun and engaging way to spark curiosity while spending quality time together.
KS1 home educators are welcome at the 11:15 session. Sessions are designed for children and their carers, creating a relaxed, small-group experience, so they aren’t suitable for larger nursery groups, but we’d be happy to arrange a dedicated session on request.
