Jeans Craft room is a small shop at 23 North Hill. Start­ed in Octo­ber 2023, we are con­cen­trat­ing on pot­tery paint­ing for the time being. Cus­tomers book a table (email, tele­phone or face­book mes­sage) for a 2 hour paint­ing slot. When they arrive they are shown to the table and intro­duced to the ceram­ic items we have for sale. There is no stu­dio fee, glaz­ing or fir­ing fee and prices, which are clear­ly marked on the shelves, start at £10 for a medi­um sized char­ac­ter or ani­mal. Dinosaurs, coin banks, foot­ball, pug, ele­phant to name a few start at £12. Oth­er key items include medi­um plate £15, stan­dard mug £15, large mug £20, Cup and saucer £25, Large teapot £25. The Tex­tile Col­lec­tive is made up of three expe­ri­enced, aca­d­e­m­i­cal­ly trained tex­tile & art professionals. 

They all have sus­tain­abil­i­ty and mind­ful­ness at the core of our prac­tis­es and togeth­er they have cre­at­ed a com­pa­ny with­in the local com­mu­ni­ty that pro­vides access to a large open work­space, a vari­ety of sewing equip­ment and technical/​artistic support. 

As a com­mu­ni­ty inter­est com­pa­ny, they aim to enable vis­i­tors to devel­op their own cre­ativ­i­ty, be it their sewing skills or an over­all under­stand­ing of tex­tile craft in a safe, open, and friend­ly envi­ron­ment using donat­ed fab­rics and equip­ment. They have devel­oped flex­i­ble activ­i­ty ses­sions and drop-in groups which allow vis­i­tors to con­nect and be inspired in their own per­son­al way.

At Wax Spir­i­tu­al, we blend mod­ern ele­gance with ancient wis­dom, offer­ing var­i­ous prod­ucts and ser­vices to help our clients tap into their inner ​“mag­ick.” Our beau­ti­ful­ly dec­o­rat­ed store fea­tures crys­tals, tarot decks, art­work, incense, spell ingre­di­ents, con­jure oils, and an eclec­tic selec­tion of books and acces­sories cov­er­ing mod­ern spell­craft, man­i­fes­ta­tion, and self-care. Unique to Wax Spir­i­tu­al, we proud­ly show­case hand­made items by our own­er, includ­ing arti­sanal pots, can­dle­sticks, resin ex-voto décor, and hand-poured can­dles and wax melts. These bespoke cre­ations add a per­son­al touch, enhanc­ing the spir­i­tu­al expe­ri­ence and con­nect­ing our clients with the love and care imbued in each piece.
