CEECC - About us
Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club (CEECC or the Club) is an outstanding community cricket club with charitable status and is a breeding ground for excellence. England stars Graham Napier, Reece Topley and Ben Foakes all spent formative years at the club. More recently, Tom Blundell, current New Zealand wicket-keeper, also played with the Club.
CEECC has a thriving Women’s Section with top talent at Essex and Sunrisers. We have over 100 junior members who are the stars of the future and we are a bastion of the local community.
- In 2022, the Men’s 1st XI finished 3rd in the Essex Premier League, having gained promotion in 2020 from Division One.
- The Men’s Under 19s have been the Essex T20 champions for 2020, 2021 and 2022.
- In 2022 the Women's 1st XI finished runners-up in the Southern Premier League Division One.
- Our boys' junior teams regularly dominate local area T20 competitions.
- We completed a significant pavilion redevelopment in 2022.
- We are national leaders in live match day coverage and online representation.

Overlooking the cricket pitches and set in the heart of castle park, the newly refurbished clubhouse is a dynamic space capable of catering to any type of function.

2. Activity/Club Hire - Use our space
Looking for somewhere to host your weekly quiz night? Or perhaps you need a tranquil setting for a group yoga lesson? Look no further!
With fully removable tables and its open airy feel the clubhouse can be used to host any sort of activity. Its free on-site parking and close proximity to the town centre make it the perfect venue for your weekly get-together.
