Introducing InColchester Connect

A new monthly networking event for Colchester businesses

We’re bringing Colchester’s business community together.

From independents and BID businesses to those simply wanting to stay in the loop, InColchester Connect is a relaxed, informal space to meet, chat and build genuine connections in the city centre.

What is InColchester Connect?

InColchester Connect is our new monthly networking event, designed to make connecting with other local businesses feel easy.

Whether you’re a regular networker or stepping into your first event, this is about creating a welcoming environment where conversations flow naturally and opportunities follow.

Expect a mix of familiar faces and new connections, all with a shared interest in Colchester’s business community.

When & where?

📍 Old Library, Colchester
🗓 Last Tuesday of every month
⏰ 10:00 – 12:00
☕ Teas, coffee & pastries on arrival

Our first event kicks things off on Tuesday 28th April and we’re just getting started.

What to expect

We’ve kept things simple and purposeful:

  • Easy, open networking from the start
  • A short introduction from the BID + guest speaker
  • Updates on what’s happening across the city
  • Time to connect with businesses, the BID team and partners

It’s all about creating space for meaningful conversations without overcomplicating it.

Why it matters

Colchester is full of ambitious businesses and when those businesses connect, things happen.

InColchester Connect is about:

  • Strengthening relationships across the city
  • Encouraging collaboration
  • Keeping businesses informed and involved
  • Supporting a more connected local community

Because when businesses feel connected, the whole city benefits.
